Cableway accidents are not uncommon, most of them are related to the cableway wire ropes broken. In 1999, the wire rope of Cavalese cableway in Italy was broken, and 20 people died. In 2004, 53 people were trapped in the strands broken accident of Schilthorn cableway in Switzerland. In 2010, 9 people were injured & killed in the broken-rope accident of Maine ski resort in USA. In 2019, a rope-breaking accident occurred in Squamish cableway in Canada, more than 30 cableway cabins fell to the ground. In contrast to the accedents, the fact is that visual inspection, caliper measurement, etc. are still universal cableway wire rope inspection methods, there is a huge "gap" between old inspection technology and the high safety requirements of cableway users.

TCK.W wire rope real-time online automatic monitoring system provides a latest wire rope safety inspection solution.
